Subzero is froyo on steroids...

So, recently some of our editorial crew were hanging out in Hollywood Young Circle, with the closing down of Menchies, life hasn't been the same at the ol circle.

Thankfully, we found a new spot with amazing service and great product. It is called Subzero ice cream and yogurt in Hollywood FL.  They have this entertaining and uncommonly delicious way of concocting their creamy frozen edibles.

The Process

They gather whatever ingredients you want and add them to this bowl that is commingled with liquid nitrogen. It creates this foggy sort of movie screen effect while your ice cream is being prepared fresh in front of your face! I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it and the taste is rich and creamy unlike a typical ice cream or even yogurt place. I felt like a small child watching an amazing show as they prepared our frozen treats on a hot Florida day. My favorite flavor is the guava flavor. It is absolutely to die for.

Will liquid nitrogen ice cream gain popularity like froyo?
